1. Eat Enough Live Food
Without a doubt the best way to take care of your skin is from the inside out, Make sure to eat at least 7 servings of fruits and vegetables a day. The compounds in vegetables help to fight off free radicals that contribute to aging and skin damage.
2. Drink Plenty of Water
Proper Hydration is key, the recommended dose is 6 to 8 glasses a day.
3. Limit your Sugar, Alcohol and Caffeine.
As good as those tasty treats are moderation is Key to insure good skin health. Caffeine and alcohol dehydrate the body and excess sugar contributes to inflammation and accelerates the aging process. Remember to check the sugar content of the products you consume. That cup of OJ may not be real juice at all and that cup of yogurt might as well be chocolate cake, avoid the sugar bombs.
4. Ditch the Smokes
It’s nearly impossible to believe, but PEOPLE still smoke cigarettes. If you want to keep that skin youthful and keep getting ID’d well into your forties, give up the smokes!!!
5. Establish Good Shaving Habits
Avoid aftershave and always shave with the grain not against. Shaving against the grain encourages ingrown hairs and causes cyst and blemishes that can leave your skin scarred. Don’t be afraid to spend some money on good razors and take the time to learn what works well for your skin type.
6. Stay Balanced
Get Plenty of Rest and Exercise to reduce the aging effects of Stress.
7. Don’t Skimp on good Sun Block
When outside make sure to protect your skin, even if it’s overcast harmful UV rays are present and overtime will prematurely age your skin.
8. Treat Your Face Right!
Every morning treat your face to a splash of cold water, it will help to wash away dead cells. As a compliment while your skin is damp, use a moisturizer to keep your skin healthy and vibrant.
