DIY Fall Body Scrub Recipe – Pumpkin Cinnamon

Fall is an all-time favorite for the wonderful scents and flavors that seem to be around for only a short time. Here’s a fall body scrub recipe for you to have fun with at home and keep your skin glowing and smooth this season.

Pumpkin and Cinnamon Body Scrub Recipe

Pumpkin is packed with alpha hydroxy acids that help with cell turnover and rapid exfoliation. This scrub is perfect to brighten skin and get rid of those rough areas on our body.

Body Scrub Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon jojobaalmond or olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder (optional)


Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. This scrub does not keep well; therefore, it should be used at the time of mixing. This scrub has best results when applied to dry skin. The recommended application is 10-20 minutes warm water bath soak, towel dry, use scrub, and then shower to rinse off.
